Probably the only Tah I'm ever gonna like, he's always been a lovable character. And I think he will be most valuable for mentoring the guys. There's no way I want to see any of our guys sacrificing a spot. Maybe he got tired of getting beaten by the Force LOL!
TPN has by all accounts been very strong in the local club scene in NSW.
I think he will be a great asset to the Future Force and hopefully the local clubs here as well.
That alone is well worth having him here.
Good pick up. Brings genuine heart on sleeve meathead mentality, can't have too many but you need a few to lead the way.
Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
Great signing. Looking forward to cheering him on as opposed to booing him because deep down I've always really liked him as a player. Only remember accurate line out throws under pressure from him as well. Something I can't say for Chuck or Tess and I do remember because that is 1 burr that really does get under my saddle.
Great news, also good for marketing as well as a lot of non rugby diehards know him because of the fro!
I know a lot of people on here love tessman but he is not international standard like TPN, if he stays fit he will be an improvement.
I think people love Tessman because he obviously gives 100% and plays with his heart on his sleeve. TPN is a similar character, and although he's only here a year could be a fan favourite.
I hope TPN does get involved in club rugby here, too. He won't be here long enough to join and integrate into one club, but some coaching sessions for all levels from a Wallaby hooker would draw a waiting list, I'd have thought.

Does Sharon come with him as a 2For package deal"
Great signing, will mentor some of the younger players coming through and is still a pretty good player at Super Rugby level.
Welcome aboard TPN, please stop tackling with your face.
Like every other signing, it's an upgrade from the previous player (Cheese) which can only be good thing. ARU & Chieka's fingerprints all over it![]()

Who knows the future? He might like the place as much as Hodgo & Benny Mac.
Decisions taken at the SANZAR level in the next couple of months could change the landscape dramatically.
In his position you'd only sign for a year. He'll be the same age next year as Canno was on arrival.

TPN in our view is a real coup. Most importantly we would never have gotten close to signing him without the support and influence of the ARU. This is a sign that the Alliance is working. If you know a bit about him you would also know that he is a real grassroots guy. He played his early days at Parramatta in Sydney's west and is a regular contributor to the club in terms of coaching, mentoring and general volunteering. He really wanted to understand what he could do for Community Rugby here in Perth and our responses helped seal his decision. Some good press in the West Australian today on this.
Talking his contribution to club rugby, he's actually one bloke who I wouldn't begrudge sending back to Parramatta when the Super rugby season is over. His connection and support of that club is well documented enough for even me to be aware of it.
I think I might give the memberships team a call today!
