relying on flashy backs is Link's doing with the reds, he could see they didn't have any forwards and papered ove rthe cracks. It was successful for long enough to get him a Wallaby gig, interestingly, he's now looking to use a more rounded game. Even with masses of ball in hand and keeping it away from our strike weapons (did you hear that? I genuinely used the term strike weapons) they couldn't match it with us.
They avoided the breakdown, ran around in circles, played flashy, ball-in-hand rugby, which is what you want to do against a team tthat has you beat in the forwards, but they weren't good enough. With our forwards winning breakdown ball virtually at will, they were always going to struggle, even with their pet ref ignoring Cheese getting mugged in the second minute and binning Gus for making such a strong tackle that he didn't have time to wrap his arms around. I'm really liking the fact that I can bitch about the ref and we still come away with the win.
Does Tommy have enough money left to float a book on whether Garra Williamson gets the sack next week!

Great game, Fucken battled right through to the 80!
Surely, when you're on 2 wins out of six, the scoreboard is pretty high on the agenda! But what would I know, my team is winning!Originally Posted by Andrew Slack (coincidentally a Queenslander)

Maybe Fox should have been some address filtering on that article to keep it from our delicate eyes!
I have to admit I have been thinking about Cooper's kick. Was it the right decision? Could they have scored the try? IMO I reckon they had a better chance of scoring the try vs Cooper making the kick - and the Reds should have known that. The Force chasers have been quite effective over the season for the most part and didn't give him much space/time to work with. They should have gone for the possession game and tried to milk a penalty if a draw was the best they felt they could have done.
I was impressed with Marcel Brache.
Have seen the presser for the Reds Graham and and Horwill look devestated....but all I want to see is the Force presser!!!
Unfortunately word is junior's season is done. He's either having surgery tonight or tomorrow to repair his broken arm.
Unsure if he's broken his radius & ulna but he's done for the year.
If he has a break I think it will be a spiralated fracture which is the worst break you can imagine
