Some would say he's the difference between a world cup and third place.
most of his tackles are careless, he attempts to make up for poor technique by blurring the lines between legality and high tackles/shoulder charges.
He's also a well known niggle merchant (although I was in favour of that towards McCaw) so I would also suspect at least a little malice, especially given the situation in which the tackle took place.

I reckon he get poss 2 weeks
Yeah, it's a bit funny. I liked the reds last night, my discontent with them this year might have been based more around the style of their play than any change in attitude over their winning the final last year.
Brumbies on the other hand looked fragile and completely out of their depth last night.....kinda glad they didn't make it, because the Reds look the more capable of making the final at this point.
Not that there aren't far better looking teams in that 6

Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
Well, I've no great affection for Cooper, but I personally think that is piss-weak. I thought it was more unlucky than intentional, and certainly nothing compared to any number of tackles that spring to mind by TPN, Palu, Mealamu, Samo, Nonu and (more than anyone) SBW that no-one says boo about.
yeah, penalty, and yellow, but i wouldn't have thought a ban was necessary. It was high sure, but barnes was going down when the contact occurred.
Also, GO REDS!
