I think we are all in agreement with Harvey. If he starts next week it will be a joke, even his goal kicking wasn't good.
Sidey was good in defence and crash ball but doesn't offer much else. Also thought Battye should have come on for Lynn for the last 20.

I know this is off topic but Richard Brown tweeted tonight "The Firepower fiasco continues". Anyone know what that could have been about?
Is he talking about the fact that the Rebels were set up after the lessons of Firepower had been learned??
How about they stick with Seymour as tje Reds did with Cooper, Ash? I habe been really frustrated that he has not started at 5/8 since the finals chance died. Show some faith in him - and Mafi, Toupu & Wara. The new coach will pick his squad with whoever is left unsigned at that late stage. The recruiting priority is, as always, an experienced 10/12.

Ended up taking the kids to the game.
Their dad was a sorry figure walking back to the car.
Only one thing to add to the posts above.................
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Took my son to his first game. So as not to completely crush him I told him they won the first half and we won the second, so it was 1 all. He seemed to buy that.

Another in a long line of rip off agents who have realised that if you are going to rip people off, there is no point doing it half hearted. Doing time in Wooroloo I suspect is hardly hard labour.
Will Tupou was a menace in defense, and the couple touches he had was hard to bring down. Coaching set up need to make some plays specifically to get the ball in his hands much more. Sidey seemed to overplay the crashball play(or maybe that was the coaches plan). Im starting to feel that Mafi at 12 is looking more appealing much in the way how someone had mentioned moving cam shepherd there.....at least they have a passing and kicking game which would be handy at 12.
The last penalty that gifted the Rebels the win im still a bit perplexed. It was pretty clear to me the whole game the Rebels pack were playing cat and mouse once it was established again they were hopeless scrummagers. Mafu fell flat on his face like he had nothing to push against. Surely on our own feed the worst that should have been called was a reset. The rebels have been doing this with every team they struggle against at srum time.
I feared the rabble would come out firing in the first 20-30 minutes.....dont think it can get more humiliating then losing to the Rabble twice. Victorian arseholes have been crowing about how they should have got the first expansion license and our results this year seems to justify it to the rest of australia.
Pretty sure we can win next week though!

New coach, new players, new strip and colours.
Let's start again next season, this year again was a disaster.
Big off season signings both coach and players + a new attitude. We should have grabbed Tuilagi before he got signed up to Japan, he'd be awesome on the wing. That french bloke we got is shit.
Forget the past, time to move on with this team.
Lee Byrne for fullback, our poor chap is way out of his league. Shows how bad the management at the Force is now for signing him up for next year.
thanks for that insight re scrummaging. You would have thought a switched on ref would have realised that after the first incident and penalised them accordingly, not give them the game.
