A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

Hopefully by then you'll have your own car and membership!
C'mon the
Converted from another UK soccer chant:
"Johnny Michell's blue & white army" repeated ad infinitum
To the tune (?) of the Barmy Army song:
"We're the Force, the Western Force" etc etc etc
why doesn't everyone just pick a song and sing it
it doesn't have to be the same song mind you
anything will do.
singing is what people do at the rugby. Chanting is for soccer hooligans!
Bohemian Rhapsody!
"I see a little figuretto of a man
Scaramoush Scaramoush can you do the fandango"
C'mon the
"So you think you can stop me and spit in my eye"
"So you think you can love me and leave me to die"
And, in time, get real organised and split the ground up into sections for a proper choral effect. Both ends of the ground calling "Galileo" backwards and forward, then "Magnifico-o-o-o-o" rolling along the sidelines, then "I'm just a poor boy nobody loves me" from the shed and "He's just a poor boy from a poor family, etc" from every set of lungs...
It would be huge....that would stuff those damn bells!

You're right Timbo..... nobody will miss a goal kick with this sort of inspiration.
Do the force actually have a team song? i've searched around and not found one.
my feelings about football songs are.
1/ they need to have there own distinct tune. "borrowing" a tune from the hit-parade or another footy club is a bit limp in my opinion.
2/ it should be simple and clever. one easy verse, one "other" verse for the hard core and a chorus or chant people can unison easily on.
3/ it should talk the team up with out the singers sounding too up them selves.
i went to the funeral of a young bloke who loved the west coast eagles before xmas and the crowd sang the eagle's song at the end of it. i'd never listened to it before but was impressed by it's simplicity, originality and the way it got the point across with out being too overstated.
i think these are things we should aim for.
