It was great to watch a match they did well in though. Lifted my spirit and my faith no end! Hopefully a sign of things to come..

Simmons just proved what a big DICK he is. Hopper should have been MOM. Anyone know who was? Copper played well, Genia was going forward for a change. The lack of kicking really made the difference.
I hope The Force take note!

thought kurindrani had a poor game other than his tackle stats reminded me of wendell with butterfingers

Didn't like Simmons hit on Contepomi at all. It looked like an "up-yours" to Argentine rugby.

I hope that this game has given Cooper a big jolt of confidence.

It will be a shame to see Michael Hooper lose his place in the team for David Pocock next season. Makes you wonder what Hooper would be like as an inside centre- fast sprinter, strong in the tackle, strong tackler, great at the breakdown and can play 80 minutes. Can't speak much for his passing but it can't be any worse than Pat McCabe's. Especially since Lealiifano had another uneventful game. The beauty of the way that Quade plays is that you don't really need a playmaking 12.

Yeah good win. Argies seem to go to shit when they're anything but underdogs.

Max respect to Contemomi for all his services to the game. Such a shame to get put out of the game by someone not even worthy of cleaning his boots.

    Rob Simmons, you wanker!

Thanks Al. He did have a good game. Shame because it kept Benny Mc on the bench for to long IMO.

    good game all round.

Genia being benched seems to have given him a kick up the backside, which he really needed. I thought he had a very good game.

    Similar for Benny Robinson.

McCalman was a bit quieter this week when he came on, but I suppose the forwards had more parity and as a result his hard work was a little less noticeable (as opposed to last week when he was the ONLY player hitting the line at pace).

I agree that Kurindani had a bit of a mixed game - some good strong runs followed up by some pretty average defence and poor handling.

I must admit (despite the great attack) I have question marks over Falou's defence at fullback. he's ok when defending in the line, but that is 2 games now where he has been beaten 1 on 1 as our last line of defence. The commentators go into a fit when he has the ability to beat his opposite in a similar situation (they really loved it when he did it to Izzy Dagg), but completely brush over it when he is bamboozled by a break-away runner. I want to see him commit and at least make the tackle, rather than be caught in 2 minds and be left for dead.

am I being too harsh on him?
