Cheap shot Coach, but perhaps not as cheap as mine at Rockingham!![]()
All for the love of the game

GO THE BROTHERS
Brothers win again this time at the expense of Cottesloe. Well done boys and the forwards. Even if the seagulls went uncontested scrums in the second half. Just shows the depth of Joondalup.

Brothers 1st 15 are into the grand final, as is the under 19s and the 5th grade are in the semi finals a good year so far.

Brothers V ARKS Grand Final Sunday 16th September 2007
See you there
GO THE BROTHERS
In the Under 19 Division One grand final, Joondalup and Perth-Bayswater Black shared the 2007 premiership after drawing 14-14 at full time.

Bit ordinary, to change the competition rules without complying with the constitutional requirement that the rules cannot be changed in any season after they have been approved for that season.
I can understand why, but rules are rules and the game should have gone to extra time and if still a draw be awarded to the team scoring the first try, if no trys then to the team finishing higher on the ladder. That's my understanding, anyway.
Was anyone robbed?
#5 for Joondalup certainly thought so. I watched him being very upset at the post-game ceremony.
Yeah but Under 19s can't play more than 70 minutes in a day, so it's against some law (Aus Sports Commisssion?) to go to extra time.Originally Posted by fulvio sammut
On the positive side, any ref who gets a draw at full time has to shout all the other refs who were at the game! So we had one after the first weekend of the finals and the u/19 GF yesterday - and very nearly one in the 5ths today, but thankfully I was able to avert that at the death-knock.![]()

Ecky, your cheque's in the mail.
Well as the under 19s were minor premiers i take it that they are the winners
Joondalup 3rd grade won both the minor premiership, and the grand final against Arks on Sunday.
Go the Brothers.
p.s we are also club champions for the third year running.
Just need a Premier Grade team now![]()
