Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Bringing it vaguely back onto the topic of books:

Customer: Look, there's no other way to say this, but I didn't come in here to be insulted.
Bernard: Well, I didn't ask for the job of insulting you. In another life, we could have been brothers. Running a small, quirky taveria in Sicily. Maybe we would have married the local twins instead of wasting each other's time here in this dump. But it was not to be. So hop it.

I love that show so much!

Not wishing to cast dispersions on the Innforcer - but in general I thought that his reading material was mostly confined to beer mats and menus and flight itinerary's for TLH what is it with this new obsession with book sellers?

Has he A: Discovered the wonder of reading - Nah...
B: His latest conquest is intelligent and he needs to bone up on a particular topic?
C: He is embarrassed to be seen in a bookshop buying a present for Mom for mothers day?

i'd buy them regardless of the cost.
i dont really look at the cost when i am buying a book. because i re-read them.

yeah same here but.. if its $50 i don't get it
usually my limit is $30 on a book
    unless.. its a rugby book
but if i got a discount i'd buy bulk and give pressies
