Yeah i agree. Ive edited my previous post after rereading it. Sias is under instruction what to do and has had to deal with playing with diffent 9s and different 12s this year which has caused him frustration. Last years 9,10,12 of Alby, Sias and Kyle was working and so we changed it for some reason and i think thats where Sias' unhappiness is coming from. I think the coaches have finally come to this conclusion also and are looking at adjusting things based on their selections this week. I think Sias wants to be here, he did commit for 5 years (2year contract followed by 3 year extension) after all since he first came across.
There are 3 types of people in this world, those that can count and those that can't
I think this is our strongest backline and with the players in their best positions too. I have a good feeling about this weekend...
If people want the 10 to stop kicking then perhaps the coach needs to change not the 10.
Non sunt multiplicanda entia sine necessitate
maybe Foley was directed to play Godwin at 13 & as compensation the Tahs just happened to lose both games against us?![]()
Sias is told to kick half the time he actually kicks it, from a very good source. The little grubbers 20 metres out is definitely not part of instructions
Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
Greetings from Paris.
Hoping I can find a Sports Bar to watch the game on Saturday.
Any suggestions?
How good was that win against the Tahs?![]()

(3 in a row!)
Some team comparisons:
Starting XV:
FORCE: 797 SXV caps; 8 (7W/1T) Test Players - 91 caps (38 with Ben McC)
HIGHLANDERS: 548 SXV caps; 4 Test Players - 89 caps. (76 with Ben & Aaaron Smith)
Benches:
FORCE: 276 SXV caps; 1Test Player (AB) – 4 caps.
HIGHLANDERS: 124 SXV caps; 1 Test Player (Japan) - 44 caps.
Packs:
FORCE: 892 kg (+13kg)
HIGHLANDERS: 879 kg
For a change the Force has significantly more SXV and Test experience.
Force +13kg on starting pack and +5kg with replacements.
Force need to put in for the full 80 minutes and hammer home a strong win!
Like the starting line-up for the Force.
Pleasing to see Ryan get another run-on cap.
Good to see Sam Wykes and DHP return from injury.
Hope Brad Lacey gets some useful time and his first cap.
Am very concerned about the impact of the Lees, Hoffmann, Cooper, Smith combination.
Back home for the REDS game!!!![]()
Try Cafe OZ Châtelet. Apparently there are 3 Aussie themed pubs around Paris and they show Australian sport. There are another 3 in other locations but not sure how far out they may be travel wise. They have a website so perhaps look them up or ring the bar and check. Good luck!

Rue Saint Denis is in the red light district so beware!
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
It will be Saturday afternoon Paris time, plenty of tourists around. It's cultural!
