Great news!“We are committed to supporting these talented athletes and growing the game for women and girls in Western Australia,” Marvin continued. “Our Force Women are some of the best on field nationally and internationally and we can’t wait to see them run out for our club.”
Hong Kong Rugby Union chief executive Robbie McRobbie said HKRU was “delighted to have both our men’s and women’s national teams travelling to Perth as part of the Force’s exciting calendar of fixtures for 2018. For our women this is an opportunity to build on their participation in last year’s Rugby World Cup in Ireland, while for our men it fits into a critical period as we endeavour to qualify for Japan 2019,” McRobbie said.
“We look forward to some tough rugby and hopefully putting on entertaining displays for the famous Force fans.”
The Womens’ Super W season kicks off at home this Sunday 11 March at 3pm at Harvey Field, (off Broome St) in Cottesloe where the Alcohol Think Again Western Force Women take on the Melbourne Rebels Women.
The game is free to attend and will feature entertainment from 2pm. Players from the Western Force men’s team will be in attendance.
