Believe me they are! In Goldsworthy we had tapes of programmes flown in and played through like a video to all residents...latest news was done via radio with a picture of a Goldworthy landscape on the screen....not surprising from a population "tops" in my estimation of approx. 1800 (possibly including all domestic pets!) there were 4 softball teams, 4 baseball teams, 5 basketball teams, men & women..4 AFL teams, and I THINK a rugby league team that had to go into PT Hedland ..2hrs away on a gravel ungraded road, to play any games! Yep back in the day....???!!![]()

Luxury, sheer luxury. In Gove, scrolls of the news were sent overland from Darwin on horseback and were read out by the town crier...
Don't recall Shay Gap.having a team but some blokes travelled PH to play for the Hawks IIRC. Dunno how they went with away games in Parraburdo. We used to dread it from Dampier. 388k down a dirt road, off the bus, change and run out. A lot longer from PH. But some memorable homeward bus rides.

Hold it in front of you, with the home button at the bottom. At the top right hand corner on the right side of the iPad you'll find 2 controls, one a sliding toggle switch, the other a soft rocker switch, the soft rocker switch is your volume control.
