Australia suffered a massive 43-6 loss to the All Blacks in the very first Tri-Nations match, the highest score by either team in 91 years of competition.
Seven days later Australia had to back up against a great Springbok side on an extensive winning spree.
What was the scoreline and what was the Springboks winning streak prior to the match?
Sorry Coach but wrong. The Crusaders got 61 tries in 05
I don't have any answers to the above questions but this one I spotted last night watching Late night Legends on ABC2. It was the 1967 Grand final between Randwick and Gordon and I noticed that their positional numbers are different to todays.
So two questions:
1. When did they change around?
2. Was McKenzie responsible?
Bugger! I didn't have last years stats...Originally Posted by Sparko

Dunno if anyone can answer Mambo's last question but for number two I would probably think that Link would be involved
Now, let's get this ship rolling again!
What does the tattoo on Matty Rogers' forearm say?
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
Does it say "c'est la vie" ?
If so... Here's an easier one perhaps?
Who has the most test tries in test rugby (and how many)?
For extra points please name who is 2nd and 3rd on that list (and how many...)
Nice work htbd, I saw it on a recent Sportal photo!
I'll sit back for a while and let someone else have a crack at your questions.
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
I am pretty sure that it is Campo at 64, not sure on 2nd and 3rd.
Which 3 nations have 100% win records?
Woah... gotta update my trivia knowledge now... this one is a real doozey!
May 16, 2006 - 6:15pm - Campese's Record Broken...
http://www.rugby.com.au/news/campese.../section/21893
Former Australian rugby union superstar David Campese has had his world record for Test match tries broken by Japan's Daisuke Ohata.
Ohata scored three times in his country's 32-7 win over Georgia on the weekend to move to 65 test tries, one more than the Wallaby legend.
The Japanese winger took just 55 Test matches to reach the mark while Campese took 101 matches to score his 64 Test tries, although he had to face far tougher opposition than Japan regularly face.
"I doubt (Campese) would have expected a Japanese player to break his record," Ohata was reported as saying on ABC Sport.
"There was a weird kind of pressure on me to do it so I'm happy to get it done."
The Japan Rugby Football Union presented the 30-year-old winger with a gold-striped shirt after the match to mark his world record achievement
For the Record:
TOP TEST TRY-SCORERS
Daisuke Ohata (Jap) 65
David Campese (Aus) 64
Rory Underwood (Eng+BL) 50
Christian Cullen (NZ) 46
Jeff Wilson (NZ) 44
what is Cyathea dealbata ?
Very nice Happy!
The NZ National Emblem, I did know but a better explanation than mine is below:
Cyathea Dealbata is also called 'Ponga' of 'Silver tree fern'.
This is the New-Zealand National Symbol, and is a Majestic tree fern with mature fronds that can grow about 4 m long, which have a distinctive silvery colour underside. The trunk can be as tall as 10 m or more. It easily grows in a sheltered situation and eventually grows in our climate 2 to 4 cm per year depending on conditions, but frond growth is rapid. Cyathea dealbata resembles Cyathea milnei, which differs in lacking the silvery colour on the underside of the fronds.
In what year was the first reported Rugby Union match played in Western Australia and who were the combatants?
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
In 1881, between 'High School' and 'Town' sides.
How many registered Rugby clubs are there in Western Australia?
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
Is it a trick question, or there are more then just the Force?Originally Posted by Coach

It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
