No one probably wants me to say this, but after so many close performances against sides we should have beaten; is anyone a bit worried that this is the week we're gonna get right-royally thumped?!

Agree, whenever it seems we think we will do ok we get beaten badly.. Still I will keep fingers crossed the force can do it.
It's always a possibility, My current rule of thumb (as stupid as it sounds) is, If we're unbackable favourites, we'll probably stink audibly, but if we're sure to lose it we'll play OK and I'll walk away happy.
Anything inbetween the two extremes is a lottery and I'll probably be disappointed by it!
C'mon the
Despite injuries the Sharks are still a bloody good side. Massive pack and good outside runners. We need to be on our guard and hit them with plenty of physicality early. I am sure the Force are aware of these inconsistencies and will be trying to address them. Last two home games have been quality performances with plenty of heart, hopefully more of the same this weekend.

Too right, make no bones about it, the Sharks are a good side. They thumped us the last couple of times we played and we haven't beaten them since our Subiaco days.
Man I hope we win this week!

After years of disinterest my missus is starting ask about the next game etc. I think there is a feeling that the Force are starting to turn into the real deal. Still a long way to go but good to be attracting some attention again.

It is often claimed that the term's etymological origin lies in a law that limited the maximum thickness of a stick with which it was permissible for a man to beat his wife.[6][7][2] British common law before the reign of Charles II permitted a man to give his wife "moderate correction", but no "rule of thumb" (whether called by this name or not) has ever been the law in England.[8][9] Such "moderate correction" specifically excluded beatings, allowing the husband only to confine a wife to the household.[10]
