Bob Kucrea minister for sports at the time of the S14 franchaise bid - he did a lot - or enough to get us the franchaise - never struck me as the type to be hard up enough to sniff chairs - so I guess he would be out of favour at the moment.

He is. His seat is being redistributed at the next election and he was dumped by the Labor party in pre-selection for a lobbyist. He's standing as an independent...I can vaguely recall an older thread about this, and his support for a proper stadium..

every single cent should go to a rectangle stadium (sorry whoever said that before.. ) rugby has given that cash western australia, and now western australia should be giving that BACK to rugby in the form of a decent stadium!

a TEN million profit... which rugby capital was giving tickets away to get a crowd at their RECTANGULAR stadium? imagine how full it would be if we had a rectangle.. i know id be bringing up 3 more people with me if 'they could actually see the game from their seats without binoculars'
