Kafe's chalkboard was on the money though.. in Beales defense he has been told to play close so that the Tahs can play tight rugby and get ugly wins... Count how many times Tuiqiri has got the ball out wide from a set play this year... twice maybe four times at most...

Cooper has been given licence to thrill and therefore plays wider... more risky but definitely more exciting to watch.

Quade has definitely improved and probably is becoming the better player and thats because he has been working on all aspects of his game not just the pick & drive like Beale.

Right, but it's not exactly been a state secret. He's been labeled a one trick pony for a while now. The real wonder is that the NSW coaches have not worked on this deficiency. Especially when you think of the strike power outside him. The invitation is well and truly out there for him to disprove the theory tonight.

I don't know about myth, but certainly one of the more overhyped players in a while. He more than anyone benefitted during the ARC, and suffered by its loss. He has a lot of potential, but needs to find a fair bit within himself. It will be interesting to see if Hickey is the guy to tell him that he ain't all that and what he needs to do...
