I don't think you can point the finger at JUST rugby fans. I had a similar conversation on Saturday at my golf club...

Golf partner (GAYFL fan): "what you up to this weekend"
Me: "Going to the Force game"
Golf partner: "why bother, I hear they are $hit"
Me: "typical Perth "fan" - only go and watch winning teams"
I guess that "fan" isn't watching much Gayfl right now then is he?

The main thing is to have as many bums on seats as is possible at as many games as possible.

Their nationality or gender should not be a concern as long as they are putting their hands in their pocket to buy a ticket and help keep the financially viable.
Do we really want to have thought police at the gates to turn away those that are going to natter during the game or those that are not totally au fait with the players and rules?

Those once-in-a-while kiwi fans who came to watch the Crusaders and SBW saw a very entertaining game of rugby and you would imagine that they really enjoyed the night out - good, they may start attending more games. We also need the Force to keep putting in good performances to help grow the crowd!...

Like them or hate them, it is good to have the kiwis in Perth. They help our rugby community grow and thrive. It is from this kiwi expat that great Force players of the future will come. The great thing about kiwis is that they breed like rabbits. They also treat rugby like a religion. I think it is great to have them breeding wallabies in WA to beat their home cuzzies.
Like them or hate them they are a tough race of people. I believe they do support the Force by turning out for fixtures that involve their home province. I have been to canes matches where they are thick. I have been to Chiefs matches where they are thick. The Crusaders game is always a sellout.
Without our kiwi and South African brothers, there would be about 5000 spectators at Force games.
I salute the kiwi and South African expats that have chosen to make WA their home. I hope they all have 10 sons that are passionate about rugby. I hope we get lots of Tui Bros and de Villiers in Force jerseys in the years to come. Any expat that has rugby as their main religion is welcome in my house for a beer

I had the misfortune of missing the bus back to the Bowlo on Satuday night, and some 'Saders "supporters" thought it was funny to get right up into my face with some "custard remark"..and got bored when I just stood my ground with utter contempt...
What did they think they were trying to prove....Cheesh!!!!

It's much the same as those force supporters who don't bother going to the games which we're likely to lose.
In that case they cannot really be referred to as "Force supporters"...

I walked into the toilet after the game and there was about 15 red & black supporters inside having a good laugh. Anyway, wearing my Force shirt as I walked in I was confronted by a massive Maori gentleman with an afro, porn star moustache and sideburns. My immediate reaction was to say- f*#k me, time travel. Christchurch 1975. His mates started laughing & I honestly this f*#kwit was going to have a go. Anyway good sense got the better of him. Still, it's always nice to see 15 kiwis with jobs in Perth.
On another note a mate of mine, good old fashioned Kiwi supporter who loves rugby, was sitting directly behind the saders bench when McCaw was sin binned. Apparently there was a lot of abuse being hurled at him so my mate stood up, turned around and shouted "Show some respect please. This is the captain of the All Blacks". Note- he was wearing a Force top.
I don't know what I'm trying to say here other than there are still gentlemen out there who love rugby for what it is. Unfortunately there will always be the fair weather bogan f*$kwit supporters on both sides.

How about Richie show some respect by playing within the laws of the game, he had plenty of time off to see where the line has drawn, yet he insists on crossing it almost everytime he has the chance.....

A few years ago I saw a couple of saffas at subi with jerseys that had been cut down the middle and stitched with another...Force on one side and sharks (I think) on the other...

They had their own team but still supported the force on all other games (force members). I like that concept. I don't like traitors and turncoats.

Yeah, quite a few kiwis at the mine are passionate Force supporters except when we play their old team. That's fair enough, but not so keen on those who support the Force except against ALL kiwi teams or ALL Saffa teams (depending on nationality).

    I can deal with it
I'd rather talk to rugby expats than AFL fans about hamstring injuries due to the playing surface
