Moono hindsight is a wonderful thing, with limited training time due to cut down training weeks (how many 6 day turnarounds did we have this year) because of schedule and travel what would you take out of the weekly training plan?
Foley was indicating they put more focus on match day prep with the time they had available ie. Beating the opponent.
And in hindsight he would change the focus to skills dev.
I am with you.. and everyone else who supports our boys unconditionally![]()
Well if Foley can see the problems and has a plan to try and correct them, then I may have to re-think my position.
I don't get to chat to coaches/players living outside of Perth.
Did he get ahead of himself focusing on turnaround between games rather than building player skill levels? That other teams players are stronger than ours is a problem for the strength and conditioning staff rather than a lack of level playing field.
I don't believe the Force are lacking fitness, in fact since Foles took over their strength fitness has improved markedly- yet another area knobhead neglected when he was there. Also note that fitness at the Reds is being a real issue - strength conditioning team walked out last month I believe, which may be why their poaching the Brumbies guy I think it is.
The Wallabies are slated to play at NIB??!!
And yes.. I'm with you..
