when i tried to re-book that flight, they told me it was cancelled, not just delayed.

that was after the lady i spoke to went and asked her supervisor when i told her that the perth airport website was saying that flights were resuming as of midnight

but i tried to get away with NOT spending another $370

the Qantas website says I shouldn't go to the airport.

Virgin Australia said the same thing, when I finished work at 12 today first thing I did was go straight to the Airport

whoa, just looked again, qantas is profiteering, the flight is now $455, up from $370

They do that all the time. Nothing new. That's what delivers the cheapies when you book early. Everyone's out to make a buck.
