The thing that struck me most was how impressed I was with Mark Sinderberry. I loved his openness and his candour. I loved his 'no BS' attitude and his straight way of talking. He came across as a man with a firm handshake rather than one of those pathetic, limp ones!! A big plus in my (very old fashioned!) book!

Most surprising of all to me was that in that short space of time he managed to convince me to have complete and utter faith in any decision he & Foley may make to re-sign JOC.

I think GIGS and others have talked about this on here before, but after last night, I have come round to the belief that if Sinderberry, Foley, Hodgo and the senior players think they can 'tame' JOC and get him to perform to the best of his ability on the field as well, who am I to say that they shouldn't try.

    Who'd a thought?!
    Did you meet David Joyce?

Mark Sinderberry was very impressive I thought, and straightforward about the JOC situation.

Interesting that they're already factoring the "Super B" competition into their contracting too so it sounds like that's on.

Ben Whittaker has announced on Twitter this morning that he's off to France to play rugby over there this season. Not sure which team though.

Shame, but he might well have felt he'd dropped to 3rd in the depth chart behind Charles and Tessman. If no-one else in Super Rugby was going to pick him up, France is a good place to learn a bit more about the front row and try and come back in 2-3 years (eg, after next World Cup).

With HB being announced in Wallabies Squad today, I am guessing a deal has been done, Rabbit was due about now as well
