Even if found guilty by the court beale will still be playing for Wallabies as he is a golden boy like all eastern states players... Shows that our own disaplinery standards are way above the rest or QLDRU would have made the same discions as Rugby WA
Yep! Too much "look at me" showboating for mine :-/ He should be sidelined until the legal process is over.
I agree with Gigs - it's all about money, filthy rotten money
Wallabies five-eighth Kurtley Beale will face a Brisbane court for allegedly hitting a bouncer at the Victory Hotel the morning before the first Australia-Wales test.
Police said they have issued a 23-year-old Victorian man with a notice to appear on one count of common assault and he will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on July 24.
Beale and his teammate Quade Cooper were refused entry at Victory Hotel in the early hours on June 8.
The Australian Rugby Union originally put on hold its disciplinary process surrounding Beale until the police matter was resolved meaning Beale remained available for Super Rugby and the Wallabies.
The ARU is yet to comment on Beale's court date being set. No police action has been taken against Cooper.
