Well said AndyS
I hadn't even thought of these ARC teams as new (start up) clubs with no history. Your right though, they could well generate totally new interest in all states. And new people, not involved in club level may come in, as they did with the Force.
Spoke to a person at the Western Force Super Store, they are expecting 6,500 a few more if fines up.
Hopefully we crack 10,000.
You would think all Force members would want to come to see what is an almost full strength Force side
One thing for damn sure - no excuses for anyone who has ever pissed and moaned about not being able to watch top quality rugby on a rectangular ground (and especially anyone who relinquishing Force membership on that basis).
I have got the big thumbs up, and am allowed to go to the game, i guess i can buy tickets at gate, would like to be around some fellow TWF members though, how can i go about this????
Proudly bought to you by a brewery somewhere....
Let's not forget that all these estimates we are hearing come from the same "realists" that tipped the Force to have only 4000 members in our first year
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this comp and, especially from a WA perspective, we would be mad not to get behind it with the same passion and loyalty as we have with the Force.
The Air New Zealand Cup (NPC) started life as a very modest seven or eight team comp in the late Seventies and has grown into one of the most highly respected comps in World Rugby.
