I think it might be a bit premature talking about him captaining the Wallabies, first off he's going to need to secure his position and i can't see any reason for Deans to drop Hooper at present. On the bright side competition for places can only only improve our performance
Sharpie was inspirational... When hasn't he been... BLEEEESSSS!!!
HB was fired up and had a blinder...very proud of him ..
Sheehan did alright too... IMveryHO!!!
Sheehan had a cracker he stitched up weepu of the back of a scrum forced a turn over in our half and allowed us to get within range to win the game. I don't think Phipps could have down that! And speaking of him what is all the love coming out of the media in regards to him? They keep on saying he has had a cracker of a game and I just don't see it, is it just me?
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
hooper might be a better line breaker and ball handler but his defence is not as tight nor his pilfering ability.. which would deans prefer? I would have Poe in for 65 then bring on hoopers fresh legs in a tight game.
If the wobblies are behind at half time then id swap them then.
If they are playing a team with perceived defensive weaknesses such as the Poms and Welsh then start Hooper and play him through the full 80 or swapat 65 with Poe.
Anyone remember the game in wales where Poey destroyed the welsh in the first half and then George smith did the same in the 2nd? More of please!
