It has, which is why I don't think anything at all will change. They can huff and bluster to their hearts content, but the reality is that the Test is a serious payday for the WAFC and not one they can afford to turn down. We would be in no different position - pray we never have a clash with a concert at NIB, because I'll guarantee we'd lose.
We need an international standard, rectangular sports stadium. Simple!

coz Stone Cold says so
I’m not a Dockers fan nor am I an AFL fan and agree that Geelong have the right to host the game.
But I do find it a bit fishy that for the first time in over 100 year they will have a home final this weekend.
That the AFL CEO has stated that if Sydney had finished 3rd then the game would have been at Docklands and that the AFL sent out an email today of the upcoming events (which they do each week) and had Geelong V Fremantle at Docklands at 2:30 pencilled in and you also had Docklands last week saying that they expected 40k ppl to attend the game between the 2 teams.
Then their attacks all morning on the WA footy comm and on the Australian Rugby just don’t sit well with me.
“Everyone knows whether it’s rugby, politics or whatever, front-rowers should rule the world, so to have a hooker at the helm makes sense,” Nathan Charles Western Force & Wallabies Hooker.
Eddie will be relieved - he can play Geelong instead. Wonder what ground that would be played on...
