And speculation of Zack Holmes and Ian Prior for 2014
Do we really want Holmes. OK we can say he's a local boy made good but seriously where would you play him - and why. We have to do better
Prior might be useful third string after Sheehan leaves I guess
Sias Ebersohn is not a long term option at 10. He won't stay past the end of his contract. Holmes makes a great utility option. He can play 10 and 15. He is probably better at 15 than anyone we have had there so far. So I would play him off the bench next year (if he signed) and assess whether he was a starter from there.
Ian Prior would be better than Mick Snowden. Although I'd prefer Justin Turner if he could make it back from injury.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

Good news re Zach - he's a talent that will grow even more back home. Pity he is tied up with Soaks though.

great news to get Zack back home.i bet his Dad will be happy
I want to know who they mean in the SMH article, when they say "And in which importantu team has the head coach lost the confidence of his assistants? The answer is terrifying."
They say important team so it must be QLD or NSW! I thought RG was the real deal!

Great signings if true! But the really good news is that we are still chasing players, particularly an outside centre (although Junior was great last week) and a wing/fb. Lets keep building!

this from Growden
"Sydney, next stop Perth
The Waratahs are losing numerous key players, with Drew Mitchell, Berrick Barnes and Sitaleki Timani heading overseas. There is also uncertainty where Wycliff Palu will end up, while another enormous name at the Waratahs is now seriously contemplating "heading west" - which we assume means Western Force. Michael Foley, the former Waratahs coach now in Perth, would gladly pick up this star. Also a Waratahs backline player has been told by management to "pull his head in" after complaining repeatedly about a recent signing. Meanwhile, Waratahs coach Michael Cheika is waiting with interest the selection of the British & Irish Lions squad, as his marquee target for 2014 could easily revolve around who does and does not make the touring list. and then this
"Toxic atmospheres
Interesting whispers of the week include the relationship between an Australian provincial head coach and one of his assistants now being so "toxic" that the assistant is expected to move on before season's end. Over at the Force, the father of a player has clashed with a high-ranking official over derogatory remarks. The situation wasn't helped when coaching staff approached the player and told him to "get over it". "

Any idea who this "enormous name" is?
