i'm not sure if the cup is still running, i know that Curtin are playing Cott on Thursday (tomorrow).
Madurah vs neds do they really think players from the city are going to spend 2 hrs in the traffic use some common sence if this concept is going to work.use the bye weekends and play all the games at 2 grounds and you might get some interest.good concept shit organising

Not surprised, seeing their weekend results
Southern lions forfeit against UNi
Who were I'm told very vocal in getting this ridiculous "competition" off the ground.
Dear Wholetruth,
Your discussion points seem to reflect some confusion.
On the one hand when Wanneroo played ARKS in the Challenge game you had no problem with an lower tier and lower standard Wanneroo taking part and you recently posted about how Wanneroo were cheated by the system and ignored the fact that the gap in standard always mean't Wanneroo were on a hiding to nothing.
Now that RugbyWA is doing something about improving the standard through regular games between 2nd tier and top tier clubs to raise the standard of the 2nd tier you are still whinging. All too hard for you now that you are a Prem club???
Bah humbug I say to you!!
WT ... from my sources, Lions have front row problems which means the forfeit would be in the best interests given the recent safety discussions. Some may still be vocal in the comp, Pirates are looking fwd to playing neddies ... so what's your beef?
Trying to slag off another club in these forums ! Yawn ...
This competition is a great concept and with lessons learnt from this year and some planning for next year, I reckon we could make a real go of it. It will need patience and a common goal to grow the game.
Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
Neddies have 22 on their way South, but have no idea what time they'll get there. Yesterday it took me 40 minutes just from Powis Street to Mill Point Point road at 4:30pm. This traffic problem is getting beyond a joke.
Going further on the post above, Borley reckoned if each Prem club selected around 45 players from reserve Grade, 20's, 3rds and 4ths at the beginning of the season and made up a roster to play these midweekgames, or even on a Bye weekend, curtain raiser to Force game or some other festival type day and made it like an FA cup comp. it would be on the road to a winner.
went down to mandurah as i only live in golden bay and to see the way neddies was treated was an absolute disgrace by the mandurah supporters and there players .the foul language and abuse was nothing short of apaulling .i would think a club as high regarded as nedlands who were able to put a team together and make the travel and support this concept would think twice next time .shame on u mandurah

Mandurah are a bunch of ferals.
And they think they are ready for Premier Grade? Need to learn the basic manners first.
