Penalty force, don't take the kick, take the scrum, 15 mtrs out, came to nothing, penalties conceded cheetahs 5 force 15
17-13 cheetahs 70 mins
Harvey off seymour on, Stanley off sidey on 73 mins
Missed Penalty cheetahs, 17-13
It's all over 17-13 cheetahs... The disallowed try was a fkn shocker!... But the penalty count was way too high , mom adriaan strauss..
Thanks for theupdates guys
This game was there for the taking...the force didnt deserve it. Really feel for those who put the effort in every week and it amounts to nothing. I know if I was off contract I wouldn't be staying here to lose every week.
And fuuuuuu nick stiles. Why wouldnt you use the bench. No go forward, and yet you continue with the same game plan and a tired pack. We really need someone fresh and innovative next yr as coach.
Dave Harvey is useless. He gets the ball and stops dead, completely predictable.Seymour in next week and Harvey left right out.
Really disappointed this week, but as usual I'll turn up next week to watch them lose again
Oh, and sharpie I love you man, but why do you always have to lose the ball 5m out from the try line?
After getting up at 2:30 to watch the game, I have given it some time before commenting on the game.
Was annoyed about the no try to Wara - such a soft penalty to give away but if the AR are looking for anything against the attacking team they will find it (especially if they are not neutral). However, on the flip side, we could have had Harvey and at least someone else sent to the bin for the number of penalties that we conceded.
The margin doesn't reflect how the game panned out IMO, as there were a few missed penalties by Sias Ebersohn and plenty of opportunities from the cheetahs where they were playing good attacking rugby. Their work at the breakdown was the big difference tonight, as their ability to steal the ball and hold up mauls (especially in the second half) made running the ball difficult.
We didn't have the possession or territory, so i'll take 1 pt rather than none (but do know that the game was there for the taking)
We need a break! Again so near yet so far!..WHY????
I think the Force players "respect" the op players too much.
All a bit new age and not enough "I am going to fuck you up" seen.
Have noticed it in watching other teams play where the majority just hit the contest at full speed, devil may care.
I am not talking about illegal play, but genuine old school hard hitting tackles and pushing tacklers noses through their faces with a palm-off.
Rugby can be played as a very simple sport and still see a win, we don't need the razzle dazzle, we need commited players willing to put themselves on the line for their fellow team mates. Not for the fans, not for RWA and not for Wallaby selection, but for the blokes standing next to them in the huddle before they head out to play.
"Bloody oath we did!"
