Well I hope I'm wrong but if he does head over here, I doubt he will be able to "play" within the standards and conditions I would hope are imposed, you know the ones everyone else bar Alfie played by this year.
I stand to be corrected.....over to you Rabbit.

I can understand people being very wary of JOC coming back but the truth is I'm just over the Force battling it out for the wooden spoon each year.
The only way we are going to make an impact in the comp is to have some quality players in the team. James is a quality player and just his goal kicking alone could turn a few results for us.
I know there was the drama with his contract negotiation last time but apart from that were there any major dramas when he was here previously? I really can't remember any.
He wont be the Messiah (queue naughty boy jokes) but he will add flair and class to our backline.
Let's be honest up till now we've only been able to get excited about signing bench players from other clubs.
Sign him up I say...
What about his injury record? He hasn't played much for the Rebels at all this season and seems to be injured again now. Not much point paying him gazillions if he's hardly on the field.
Also, we played 'for the wooden spoon' every season he was with us before so what's different this time round?
If he comes he comes, but one player does not a team make.
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
$100 of my own cash (to be donated to Coach for TWF) says that WHEN he is the difference between a win and a loss IF he does come back - all the naysayers will be cheering him off the ground.
who wants to take me up on it? first in first dressed
has your wife approved this offer?
IF and WHEN being the important words here
why? money will never leave my account. we support the team. not individual players.
he's an asset on the field (and a bit of an ass), and nobody can say otherwise. Dead Set.
his contract will be full of that many get out clauses for us that would leave him high and dry, and scrambling for a NH contract he will be too scared to take a piss without asking foles or hodgo. simple as that. because if he messes this one up he is totally damaged goods and nobody will be stupid enough to sign him.
that should be "our account"
but I agree,we need him
Well I hope he comes across and I hope he can turn detractors into supporters. He has been in the past a great player for the club on the field.
Any further news on honey badger in all this?
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
The difference is we have a coach who seems to have a gameplan, a team culture that is developing, with pride in the jersey and the team working for each other, a CEO who is out of the top drawer, a mongrel forward pack, most of whom are staying next year (Brownie being the biggest loss IMHO), and some decent backs (finally) in Morahan, Cullet (hopefully), Godwin, Holmes....
We don't need him. But he could be an asset.
When contract negotiations halted with him 2 years ago, he was (by what reports we received) behaving like a wanker. He wasn't lieing through his teeth, or making promises he had no intentions of keeping. He was just young, dumb and full of ... himself.
I reckon he could come back from that. I was a bit of a dickhead when I was that young(er), some woUld suggest I still am However media reports of statements made by RugbyWA, Matt Hodgson and players have been pretty clear in their theme - you're welcome back ... on our terms.
If rumors are true, I'll give him the opportunity to prove his commitment to the Force, but I won't cast judgement based on his on-field performance alone ...
I have a sneaking suspicion he is still a wanker - but will happily help him eat that humble pie if I'm wrong.
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
I reckon most of us would take your 100 bucks with the proviso that the latter hasn't occurred prior to his game-turning performance. The fact is he's full of himself, and appears not to be quite as good as he thinks he is. That doesn't mean his on-field isn't valuable to the Force, but the baggage will need to be watched
What Coach said
C'mon the
"Remember lads, rugby is a team game; all 14 of you make sure you pass the ball to ..........."
