Jooste and Uyen running out at 13 and 14 for Eastern Suburbs in the SS this weekend. I hope both are on the Force radar. Uyen in particular could be a good wing/fullback in the DHP mould.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
I thought Clay Uyen was in France? If he's back in oz, then would definitely be good to get him back.
Especially if he's playing in the Shute Shield, apparently that comp is the perfect preparation for Super Rugby
seriously, Clay looked the goods in GRR, but I think it's been pretty much proven that the standard wasn't as high as Super Rugby, would he look as good this time around?
C'mon the
Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
So for the 2022 squad, is it limited to 36, not including the wider training squad? And how many foreign players will the Force
So players in BOLD are already signed. Players in RED are currently players that should be re-signed. ? are vacant positions.
This is working on (just as a guess):
6 x Props
3 x Hookers
5 x Locks (not including FLW)
6 x Backrow (including FLW
3 x Halfbacks
3 x 5/8s
5 x Centres
5 x Back 3
So about foreign players in the team. This year I think it's the following:
Medrano
Thrush
Lezana
Cubelli
Miotti
Taefu
Kahui
Brache
olowofela
Kearney
Pulu?
Not sure about Pulu because i thought i read somewhere that 7s didn't count for foreign player limits.
So at least 3 of the above are going. how many can the Force have next year?

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Henry Teafu left Samoa as a 9yo, schooled in QLD and has played all his Rugby in OZ.
The biggest hurdle to retaining might be his signing with the mooted Pasifika team due to limited game time here.
