The WF can only play the opposition that turns up and they did that well.
Outstanding defence - back to its best.
Many early season errors but a lot of good signs as well.
Impressed with efforts by DHP (laid on some great tackles and was always in the right spot) and Brache (love it when he runs the lines at pace) early.
Some of our new Backs looking v quick.
Grant takes the ball right to the line and gets some good passes away.
Lance looked good.
Some good signs and certainly showing glimpses of the game that Michael Foley has been talking about..
Not bad when there's still Hodgson, McCalman, Faulkner, van Wyk, Burton, Tapuai, Lacey to return.

(And the WF have experienced it more than most)
Enjoyed the live stream (great camera work) but the commentary from Bar TV puerile and little more than verbal diarrhoea.
They should try talking about the rugby occasionally.

First game of the season very good hit out.
Backline with a bit of older heads really looked good
Forwards did well.
Defence was outstanding shows the boys are playing for eac other. Thirteen men for almost seven minutes while only a trial match the hearts were in the right place.
I am really keen to see the season get under way for real now.
Well done buoys an effort to be proud of, even though it was just a friendly.
We will get a lot out of this character and team building wise

Really enjoyed the streaming. Although hard to get onto once I was there it was very good quality. Some nice players in the 24-30 jerseys who could do some serious damage in club land if they don't get a starting gig

Agreed! Who was that dipstick? Kearnsy etc arnt worried that their jobs are under threat.
