Or any centre that will take it to the line more than 3% of the time. For that matter Cinelli needs to start turning his shoulders upfield once or twice. At the moment, he's running sideways, everybody in the defence takes that as a signal to start sliding and they stop sliding when somebody runs the ball at the line. If the first forward who touches the ball doesn't take a second to decide to run the ball and instead passes it to the back 5m behind him who is also running sideways, the defense knows to get everybody moving towards the winger because he's the one getting the ball.If somebody challenges the centres in all that, or we should throw an inside call to a switcher, even once a half, we'd get a clean break off it and be deep in the backfield looking to score tries. My 2c
C'mon the
Kuridrani was good in the last 10 minutes but otherwise seemed a passenger. The last Tahs try was all his fault and he lazily walked back toward play.
If we have fit wingers, Kahui at 12, Godwin 13. If not, Godwin stays 12 and bring on Makara. Or Taefu to 12 and Godwin 13.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
And there was much rejoicing.

Anyone else use sports ears and have issues last night? Mine just played the advertisement loop over and over and never connected to the ref's mic.
Even if we make 3rd - which I doubt as we failed on the bonus point front - I don't think we will trouble either the Reds or the Brumbies.
So great to escape that one with a win!
I feel we let them back into the game by taking the 3 when we were hot on attack. Especially the first penalty when they were a man down also and we'd just made huge metres with our rolling maul. We need to back ourselves and go for the jugular. Similarly when we took the drop goal.
Our defense was totally different to last week - way too passive, giving the Tahs the chance to run at us and build up a head of steam.
Agree Kahui had a blinder and thought Kuridrani was actually good also. Our attack was improved again, although definitely still too much shoveling sideways, not engaging the defense and unnecessary cut out passes.
Great games from Kaitu'u, MacGregor and Strachan also.
Come on Brumbies!!
