At least it isn't Far North QR (far QR for short)....
It should suit the Wallabies -- it's clearly a touch t-shirt.
KooGa and QR Reds in new partnership
Teamwear manufacturer KooGa has signed a three year deal as Official Team Wear Sponsor of the QR Reds and Queensland Rugby Union.
KooGa has built an excellent reputation as the official apparel sponsor of the Junior Reds, Queensland Schoolboys and Queensland Women’s representative teams and is also heavily involved in club rugby in Brisbane.
KooGa has an established presence on the Gold Coast and has proven to be a reliable supplier of high quality, modern teamwear which, when combined with their reputation for producing high tech gear for high performance athletes, made them a standout choice to extend their involvement to the whole organisation.
QR Reds General Manager Daniel Herbert said the design and composition of rugby jerseys had improved markedly over the years and KooGa's product was state of the art.
"KooGa will be providing us with the best high tech jerseys that modern sports science can produce. We're delighted to have them on our team," Herbert said.
KooGa CEO Tyron Brant said the company had developed an excellent relationship with Queensland Rugby and with grassroots clubs in Queensland.
“We’ve long harboured a desire to complete the picture by bringing the QR Reds into that fold. We’ve done that now and we couldn’t be happier,” he said.
“Queensland Rugby has a rich history and we have enormous faith in the future of the game in this state.”
Mr Brant said KooGa has some exciting plans for getting Reds Members into their Reds' gear, starting with an exclusive offer on a limited edition Reds Member polo shirt available with the purchase of their 2010 Reds Membership.
The new 2010 QR Reds KooGa jersey will be unveiled later in the year.
