I was told the following this afternoon
rugbywa de-registered phoenix & rory from Wanneroo yesterday and sent them to play for soaks & wests
apparently they say Gibbo over trained them on two thursday nights according to GPS data and phoenix removed his GPS when he played against paly to enable him to play longer than 60 minutes
on the second occasion both players chose to join in the club warm up and that must have put them over the limit
Which sh"t did he say twice "work harder you lazy bastards"?

It was the second one after he called them in for their mat session.
nothing has changed in the 8 year I have been in Perth, same old same old from RugbyWA, Making decisions without looking at what impact it will have in the long run, not giving a shit about community rugby and the volunteers that works their butts off after hours and weekends to keep the community rugby show in the west on the road.
How do you keep the rest of Wanneroo Seniors interested at all They are already getting flogged every weekend and now the losing margin will even be bigger with Rory and Battye gone. I wont be surprised if Wanneroo are forced to forfeit premier grade games due to a lack of players capable of playing prems
So,BDG when you descend from that mystic mountain to the plains of Xanadu, do you intend to enlighten us, oh mighty Guru?
In the absence of Hansie, I thought you would be the one to provide the inside goss.
I'll tell you what I know, and that is that RugbyWA's latest spin is that Wanneroo (read Gibbo) wouldn't play the Force players according to RugbyWA's directions so they pulled their players, not, apparently, because Gibbo didn't have the goods.
Battye was allocated to Soaks (fat lot of good he did for them today, 5 lost line outs and counting, but that was mainly due to a hooker who's day was his own worst nightmare, and Walton to Wests, who need another halfback like Newcastle needs more coal), obviously so a player who's contract won't be renewed, and another who won't get selected this year anyway, can get the intensive game time that is available there and nowhere else in WA, including, it seems, in an outfit that can't even field 15 first grade players.
The previous line from RugbyWA, that they had no control over where their players play outside of their obligations to play for the Force due to ARU, Contract Law, RUPA, Restraint of Trade, etc. was all just a silly misunderstanding, and they actually do have the right to pull a player from a club he wishes to play, for and assign him to a club for which he doesn't.
Their is also, apparently, no truth in the rumour that Gibbo and Hill have, ahem, personality issues with each other.
Neither is there any credibility to be given to the view that RugbyWA, having successfully dispatched Rockingham, and then belatedly discovered that Joondalup could not replace them while their arse pointed to the ground, aspire to devolve the competition to one of 8 Premier clubs next season, that being the course of action least taxing cerebrally, and certainly requiring the minimum of exertion and travail. Nor has there been, of course, any decision made that Wanneroo is the weakest link, and is the one to go.
Of course RugbyWA also have more serious matters to consider, like, for example, any exposure to themselves arising from their decision to spawn a new club in Mandurah, and then seeing that club run up a $350,000 debt with the City of Mandurah, a debt which that club has been unable to service, and in respect of which, according to the local paper, the lawyers have been called in.
Oh well, carry on, you can trust the Guv'nmint, they're only there to help.
By the way, where the hell IS Political Bullshit?
Walton a half back? Cool! :-)
Anybody who read half back instead of lock needs their eyes tested.

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
