Dunno about Alzheimers, but the hangover I'm currently nursing certainly does!
And no - I wasn't drinking champagne, and yes, I know we're right back where we started, drinking on an empty head...
Apparently I'm not so old or wise after all, otherwise I'd have the good sense not to enjoy myself quite so much and I wouldn't spend the next day feeling ropey!

Hehe! I have missed the stuff you guys come out with.... stupid computer playing up again and work being supremely busy *grizzle, grumble* 17 days and I am on holiday
I think I ended up drinking a lot more on New Years day (as in after 11am Jan 1st) rather than New Years Eve... not quite sure how that happened but it was good fun and thankfuly no hangover as I had to return to work on Jan 2nd.

Fair enough - I deserved that!
Had a lovely hangover dinner last night (grilled fish 'n' chips), a good night's sleep, a couple of coffees this morning and I'm right as rain.
The detox starts here. If you see me anywhere near a glass of wine during January, grab it from me!

I like your thinking. However, I will be entertaining an Aussie bloke during Feb, so alcohol might be harder to avoid!
