Is having Steve 'look at me' Walsh as ref on Fri a good thing for us? He is at least experienced I suppose!
The mistake has been heavy east coast recruiting. Many of them want to head home after getting an opportunity and interest from east coast franchises.
The South Africans often have different motivations for coming to Australia......the political and social situation at home and also the Force may give them a better pathway into professional rugby due to the sheer number of talented players competing for super contracts in South Africa. RSA is a talent gold mine. Itis great to see a few Rhino's etc turning out in blue. Lets hope we recruit some more. They love 'ard rugby.
Getting gimps from GPS schools from Brisbane/Sydney is a ticket to disappointment

Possible Finals Scenarios for Force
by Luke Worthington
Despite what everyone is saying, the Western Force do have a pretty good chance of making the Super Rugby finals.
Western Force win by any margin - They finish fifth, overtaking the Hurricanes and the Brumbies.
Highlanders lose to Crusaders and Force win - Force take 4th spot.
Western Force lose by more than seven points and Chiefs win - Force out
Western Force lose by more than seven points - Force are out
Western Force lose by less than seven points and the Cheifs win - Force are out
Western Force lose by less than seven points and the Blues win - Force make the finals
Western Force and Brumbies draw - Yes, it's a crazy idea but the Force will make the finals, sitting sixth if the Chiefs win and fifth if the Chiefs lose.
Western Force win without a bonus point and Chiefs win with a bonus point - Force still make the finals due defeating the Brumbies
All teams below the Blues are fighting for respect and are not factors

Agree with the comment about Ollie Hoskins - goes out and gets on with it
so to put it simply - Win or draw.. the rest is up to other results.
im still not quite convinced.. his first couple of games he seemed to be enthusiastic but at times got in the way of other runners and seemed out of position when the ball was carried up by his fellow piggies, just a couple of steps too far back to be effective in cleanouts. this may come with experience and game time. not sure..
Think win
The boys have been building since the break.
I'll have more confidence if I see a backline with some talent in it. This does not include T. Morrison at 12, 13 or anywhere else

I tend to agree, Walsh is also keen on a very clean breakdown which favors the attacking team. Normally that would work against us, since we're pretty agressive at the breakdown, but the Brums are keener and they are happier to give away penalties in the red zone. I think we might just get away with it.
C'mon the
