hehe i thought so!! Me and my Dad have been posting bogus comments on perthnow (its so much funOriginally Posted by jargan83
) the eagles flying high site is the best one though...the thread's called Judd - Get F**ked or something!
What a bunch of whiners some of them are being....he's achieved a lot at the eagles and if he can and wants to go back to Melbourne and get paid just as well and be near his family and friends, then why wouldn't you go? I would!!
He's played well for WCE and now some fans turn on him just like that...FOR SHAME!!!![]()
He was quite reluctant to take on that captaincy though wasnt he?? The signs have been there for ages. Might have to point that out to the eagles faithfull
Mm though i think that may have had more to do with the way in which he got the captaincy...

Then why didn't he leave then? I would have.Originally Posted by jargan83

Pretty sure Chris and Bec are still together and as happy as ever. They seem like a pretty grounded and down to earth pair.
He really didn't want to be the captain and I don't think he particularly likes the culture within the club. Didn't like the way they handled his injury and I can't see him being happy with the whole Cousin's situation.
I'm so devastated to see him go but I can't say I'm surprised.![]()
I made Happy sad...
Wow I mised this thread at the start of the week, I think I was still celebrating![]()
A truly fantastic match, a draw at full time then extra time, worth every cent of $70 for the ticket.
Obviously the best team won on the day (as will be the case tonight and in EVERY spoirting fixture), you can only play the opposition that is fielded on the day....injury, sminjury, get over it.
I had great joy in handing out several bottles of West Coast Coolers to the die hard Eagles fans back atand it was then that the Eagles fans proved to me that we (Collingwood supporters) are certainly not the most ferral supporters in the AFL, we just line the ceiling for you Eagles fans to break through. I think the only difference is that some Eagles supporters may have a few more teeth that Collingwood supporters. As Eddie (for PM) said in The West last Friday, The WCE (like many other clubs) really do need to get over their envy of Collingwood!!
I guess it goes to show how much the WCE needed doped up players to win them a premiership, without the drugs there nowhere near the team they were in 2007!
You are spot on Jess, the culture and Cousins......missing Mummy is just a cover.Originally Posted by Jess

Juddy in Black n White stripes, I think I would only like to see that to further piss the WCE off. I believe he will be the next Kouta....over paid and under performing unless he mysteriously gets a new grion from somewhere.....now that would be task for Eddie the Great.
Either way it's only a few hours until bounce down and Collingwood are playing.
GO THE PIES!
P.S Imaag - if you only want to read the rugby news, stay out of the "Other Sports" section, probably save a bit of your sanity as well![]()

I might be a full-time swans supporter, but collingwood towled us up week 1 of finals and i was more than happy to see that result last friday, i had organised tickets through a friend of mine at work (he gave me his season tickets so i could grab 2 tickets but the swans lost week 1) but i still went and got 2 tickets because my girlfriend is eeeep an eagles fan. i think i was the only one going for the magpies in the block i was sitting in. After i ran around subiaco playing the collingwood song on my phone at full volume ( ithink i was lucky to survive) and i wholeheartedly agree with ya TiF that west coast fans = feral, and very bad loosers...............i will be heading down to freo shortly to watch the magpies sneak into the grand final![]()
This thread seems to have gone deathly quiet today...

Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
As I said Burgs, the best would win on the night....that team was Geelong (by 5 points, not a total thrashing as predicted by most disgruntled Eagles supporters). Well done Cats and best of luck to both teams next week in the Final.
Geelong by 4 goals for mine, Gary Jnr to win Norm Smith Medal.

How about the Norm/Chas double?
I think it was more than just "disgruntled" Eagles supporters tipping a thrashing, the majority of the Melbourne media had you (Pies) being mauled too.
It was a great match.

it was a great match, collingwood right in it to the death, i missed the last 3 or 4 mins but someone tole me the ball was on the collingwood 50 metre line when the full time siren went
hehe today i was at the airport bcoz my rele's were flying back to NZ via Melbourne and there were a bunch of people getting on the plane, commenting about how they had thought the eagles would get in again and thats why they were going...sucks to be them!! But a GF is a GF and it should be a cracker of a game.
Me and my mates planned our trip about a day after last years grand final, out of our group of 8 we have 8 different sides supported. One of my mates goes for Geelong so he's happy
