Rumour is Mead deal fallen through but another leaguie with Perth background being chased:
IT’S not David Mead the Western Force are after, but rising young league star Chance Peni from the Wests Tigers.
There were definitely conversations between the Force and Mead’s camp, but the club has decided not to make the Gold Coast Titans winger an offer.
Instead, they have turned their attention to 22-year-old Peni, who has yet to make his NRL debut but is tipped to have a bright future having already played for Junior Kiwis and Cook Islands.
At 190cm and 97kg, Peni is seen as an ideal outside back candidate by the Force, who have already signed Bulldogs NRL star Curtis Rona for 2017-18.

Not sure what is in the water but the last month or two Payto and Panda have been spreading a bit more positive news for us, I think they first raised the Rona issue so lets hope this one comes through too.
Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”
Well, he's got a WA background too, so that's good news.

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
I'm half expecting Cruze Ah-Nau to be coming back.
