Sorry Jono, but I was very careful to include the words "emphasis added" in parentheses in my post to denote (in accordance with what I understand to be professional drafting style) that I had added the bold type for the purposes of making my comments on what they had said.
My 2 Cents.
Godwin: - Capt and halfback for the successfully Jnr Wallabies, you really have rocks in your head even before the weekend's performance not to sign him for on a FT contract. Id have him 8 days of the week before Harvey or even Seymour, has more than 2 kicking feet, and has options available, if only the coaches can see the talent, another 1 will be let go.
Cheika: - if the rumours are right, what an absolute farkn pansie "oh im not signing as it was leaked"... piss off and relegate another team I didn't want you here anyway you messed up Stade De Franc with the start studded lineup, you won 1 trophy after joining half way thru the leinster season and all the media are humping your leg saying your a classy coach.. get fark't... Bring in Louden or Mulvhill and be done with it !!!
I've been sinking instead of swimming (with FORCE News of late) so going to ask a couple of Q's - excuse my ignorance if its been answered before.
Whats the update on swanopeol ??
Did i read right recently that ARU have given us some compensation, allowing us to sign 2 internationals and 2 junior development marque players for next year ??
Crikey, this is an old one - the Melbourne Storm was using in 2010
"THE Storm is believed to have used the supposed hiring cost of a marquee to entertain guests at home games as a means of making illegal and undisclosed payments to players.
The rort was apparently based largely around the hiring of the marquee from its owners, Melbourne Olympic Park. The club, in its official accounts, recorded that it paid Olympic Park between $15,000 and $20,000 each home game for use of the marquee.

At least it's not us cheating the salary cap
We're too rubbish to have exceeded the cap
But apart from that...

It was also the worst performing NZ U20 side ever.
Just saw on twitter that kirwan got the job at the blues. Was that what cheika was waiting for?

Any1 heard if Chieka has called RWA ??
If he was hanging out for the blues job... someone in RWA needs to stand up and say the offer has been removed for "our coach's position".
Im seeing "double standards" at RWA(if rumours are correct), last year we gave JUDAS a deadline to sign, he didn't and the offer was removed from the table. We gave Cheika a deadline to accept the offer of Monday, (by the look of it) he hasn't returned calls or advised of his decision of the offer, So why not give him the same treatment as Judas.
(I hate to say it) but Judas and Pocock were the McCaw and Carter of the Force, we've lost 1, and by the look of it were going to lose the other. If we had a plan to develop and keep the duo there's NO Deadline, we sign him no matter what !!! But now we are doing quiet the opposite with the coach.. and in my eyes he's not best option to take our team forward for successful rugby.
Considering how the Blues last appointment of a hard arse Aussie ex-forward who'd been sacked from his last gig turned out - I doubt it.
