all i know is, that if even one south african prop had held onto matfield he wouldnt have got injured, but they were more concerned with running a set piece than protecting there own player first!

No, I was thinking more along the lines of actually throwing the "jumper" into the air (need someone light, the half back shoud do). Should of expanded on the law change part, now legal to grip the jumper prior to the throw. Too dangerous to contemplate, would be spectacular though!
