i honestly dont see it getting through.
ive not paid much attention to it all this year. but going on what i saw last year and the year before. there are too many people who are going to vote no because they are set in their ways and refuse to even think about being open minded about the issue. these people will be the majority when it comes to the referrendum next year.

i kept an open mind on daylight savings since it started. But, personally i dont think we need it in w.a. We get enough daylight in the afternoons as it is. and i hate waking up at half past 5 in WST. so i really dislike knowing i am getting up an hour earlier regardless of what the clock says. Plus it takes it longer to cool down at night as the sun goes down later. who here, without aircon in their homes, likes going to bed when its stinking hot inside and out?

agreed. i am so glad that my parents finally got aircon installed in the house at the end of last summer. i was actually able to sleep comfortably. and i really, REALLY like my sleep

It seems that a large percentage of the people in WA get up at 3:00 or 4:00 am. No wonder there's not much nightlife.
