great match, im very horse, im sorry for my fellow supporters, i was a little drunk last night and yelled more than usual. (EEE13 or 3)
ref was fine, i didnt have a problem...
Loved pococks dive, where his feet were above his head... was classic...
Awesome game, awesome way to finish the home season. Pity we really cant be the table killers, as we are playing the lions and cheetahs, but i hope this helps the reads... that was a great game as well...
Go boys!
The ref was Marius Jonker but the it was the TMO - Geoff Acton - that made the call that denied the Force the try.
Kaplan had a good match last night - he let the game flow which suited the Force's game plan and we all benefited as a result.
It's easy to be critical of a referee but I wonder how many of the critics actually know the laws of the game and/or would have the slightest idea how to apply them in the hurly burly of a match ? Let's give the refs credit where it's due and some latitude when they make what appear to be mistakes when we have the benefit of TV replays. The refs have to make 95% of the calls on their own and in a split second.
I was speaking to a guy in the beer line at MES last night who turned out to be Ryan Tyrrell's dad. He seemed to be certain Ryan's playing career is over . Said that maybe there was a chance but that Ryan was feeling pretty miserable about it at the moment. I told him that his son has a lot of fans here and to give him our best wishes.
Bugger hey.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
i'd also heard that. and was speaking about it with a few on the bus last night. it's pretty dam dissapointing. i hope we can see him back on the park one day soon. his career was nowhere done
did you have a TWF card to give him?
No, I'm afraid I didn't.

Don't detract from the win by whinging about the referee. Kaplan did well. He was decisive. He kept control of the match; and was consistent with calls both ways. That's all we can ask. His 'knock on' call for Pek was wrong - but then again - if anyone watched the Tahs/Brumbies tonight, then you'd have seen Steve Walsh perform far, far worse.

Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,

Hey, don't pick on me, I was there, so was my wife !
Greydemon .... real name Nick Fairweather

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

I wouldn't consider myself a fairweather fan (though you are cool Greydemon ), just one a bit far away, does that mean I am now accurs'd?
