The Force initially hoped a decision on O'Connor's future would be known by last week – when the Perth-based franchise had a bye.
But the club is still no closer to knowing whether it will be able to retain the star player, with a final decision potentially several weeks away.

Maybe he is a dick. After teasing us like a date on prom night for farking WEEKS, maybe now is the time for him to man up and make a decision.
He would pretty much want to be the next Jesus for about about the next 5 seasons (minimum) wherever he goes/stays after his minileaguesque playing one against the other game he has put us through.
I'm sorry, I know he has natural talent, but I for one do not like being held to ransom by an under developed unproven kid. Lets face it, he is no John Eales or Far Jones.
Rugby has about a million JOC's all lamenting how they could have been great Wallabies/All Blacks, that have amounted to bugger all, either by arrogance, being worked out or through injury.
What is particularly insulting is that we have embraced James as one of our own. Supported him and gone blindly in to bat for him. Even though he still clearly is happy to use his popularity as a bargaining tool.
Even writing this I will have blokes sledging me for even THINKING about giving him a serve.
James, if you're reading this son, grow some testicles. Stay or f.uck off or do us all favour and go to league.
This is a joke that we are all getting sick of.

I tend to agree. I'm over it.
Even in that article Phil Blake is pissing in his pocket going on about how he has to do the sums and make sure he picks the right franchise for his rugby development blah blah blah....
He has had how many weeks now to weigh it all up? He would know what each franchise is able to offer him re. his rugby development, all this stringing it out bullshit would be about cold hard cash nothing else.
I see in league players sign on for 3 or 4 years at a time, I wish that would happen in union. Even if James does re-sign with the Force we will only have to go through this circus again 2 years from now.
I was lead to beleive this was going to be sorted this week but if this is going to continue for another how many weeks? I think I will end up developing some animosity towards the guy...
Geeees you guys are a bit fickle.
The problem is to us as fans he should just sign regardless, but as this is a professional sport and James is an employee so he is looking after number one and rightly so. I wonder how you guys would procrastinate over a multi million dollar pay check and drag it out to see if you get more money out of your employers who by the way all desperately want your services. Oh to be wanted!!!
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
The same happened last time. Every player has his reasons for when he finally decides what to do. Bam & Co did it quickly. It would be nice if he did it to suit our curiosity or impatience but It's his call. I really don't give a f@ck how long he takes as long as he's back for pre-season 2012. Meanwhile I'm gonna get on with watching the Rugby and he can get on with playing it.
"The main difference between playing League and Union is that now I get my hangovers on Monday instead of Sunday - Tom David
Players need deadlines.
Decisions are made when deadlines are expected and enforced.
Letting him frolic amongst the money trees until spring is disruptive to the rest of the team.
The Force also need to make planning and recruitment decisions for next year.
management needs to grow some balls.
It's run like a farking country club
No one player is bigger than the club. No one player is more important to the collective group (team).
They should have slapped a deadline on it (I'd suggest kickoff game 1).
We need to know because we need to know.
Lets wrap it up or go and steal computers with wazhisname and hang out with your gold coast groupies.
It's decision time sonny

If this rediculous game goes on for much longer it wouldnt be too hard to say that James has hindered preperations for next season. He would want to watch that particularly with the current slightly disgruntled supporter situation.
Boy if he leaves after stringing us along....
James, make a decision. Do it today. You are not Jesus.
