    In his speech Nick mentioned his girlfriend, I think he said she is Norwegian and has been here studying. He said " she's not a bad unit" which made me laugh, I wonder if she understands everything he says

    Nah, would only have got the same story as he gave the press. Personally, I think his wife may have political or academic ambitions and that played a part in the decision to go to Canberra.
