We were left exposed after sias left the field.
Although his radar was a bit off, I have to admit I kind of had a feeling he was in for a streaky game.

    * First home game with new team and home crowd.
    * Plenty of expectation after first two games for force
    * All the hype surrounding his old team and his twin brother

Always a hairy moment when you see your teams prized kicker running into a pack of charging opposition to save a try.
Saves the chance of cheetahs scoring, but strains his lower back in the process and has to be subbed.

I not sure why you have so much hate for the guy alison. All because you thought he was smugg in the coachs corner.

I think he has done and is doing a great job.

Lets look at last nights game. His job is to make sure the players are fit and healthy ready to to play week in week out.

Last might we only had about 2 players unavaliable though injury. Cummins and sheehan.

Sheehan had nothing to do with him and cummo has a bung knee. Not many team have that sort of injury list.

Think about this time last year we were already struggling to get a 22 and had to hire david harvey to make up the numbers.

Your assesment of him imo is not fair and not a reflection of what he has achived with the team.

People not putting name to comments

Sorry to be negative but I was of the understanding that only registered members could post comments...

People who comment and don't want to be named may have good or bad points but its like hiding behind a shield

    Please register and be counted..

The force played a game of 2 halves and as most have said we have the good and the bad and those just don't all meld at one time

I don't hate him. And my dislike of him is not just because he was smug on the video but because of other knowledge I have about him, which I am not willing to share. If the S&C is better than it was this time last year, it is definitely not just down to him, imo.

The new blondie ground announcer - great! She even wears a Force jersey and fills it quiet nicely.

The new screens - bloody fantastic. ( and the graphics are damm good too)

Westie - he appears to have shrunk, and is not as proactive and cheeky as the last one.

The sound system - hope they haven't sent them the cheque for it yet. Its crap!

The refs- they just seem to come to Perth to piss off the Sea of Blue!

The players - good endeavor until 65 min and they went back to 2012.

I agree with the above, especially the second point which leads me to noticing that there were no Morph Men to be seen, but sadly, we are still the only franchise witout CHEERLEADERS!!!!

We had Morph Men, now we seem to have flag boys - at least at the southern end. - several young chaps in Force attire that came forward to wave large F orce flags whenever we scored points. Next step must be cheerleaders surely? :-)

There was a MorphMan at the East Perth v Peel Thunder WAFL game earlier in the day. Tried to photograph but not sure how it turned out.

The new seats - shed hasnt changed.

The new blondie ground announcer - not a fan, seemed more interested in the half time show than the ground/game/people.

The new screens - nice and big, and clear, but there is a 3-4 second delay, which doesnt bother us at all when the game is playing, but when people were on talking, it drove me nuts!

Westie - and no morph men!

The sound system - was fine/better/good in the shed. clearer for us than last years version.
    my comments there mate..

If only Hennie Daniller was 1.8m tall instead of 1.94m then Godwins great break through the middle and chip kick that was supposed to go over Daniller would have resulted in a great try.

Oh well chin up as I tell myself there is always next week.

one massive positive that I could see even from the back of the shed (through rum coloured goggles) was the spirit in the lads.
2012, we would be lucky to see a bum slap from captain Pocock, usually the guys would stand around, heads hung, hands on hips staring blankly into space.
The players seemed positive (until the last 10, when they just looked knackered) even when the ball was going against them. that was great to see. As a fan, its even harder to back a team if they have no self belief, or display no self belief.
