Highlanders had a 4 try win against the Sharks last night and leapfrog us.

Although the Sharks had an off day, the Highlanders were superb. To beat the top of the table at home is a pretty good effort, and to score three tries in the first half against a team that had conceded none in the first half, in the comp so far this year was a credible feat. The way the Highlanders played it is probably fortuitous that the Force don't play them if they can turn it on like that.

Boys toughed it out in tough conditions. No complaints about all the kicking - Sias had a strong game. Well done Wykes/Stander earning the not releasing penalty at the end.

Watching online from sunny europe it looked like a bit of messy night with the weather (still wish i was there). Thought the field position game was a good strategy but thats where the kicking should have stopped. How many oppurtunities were lost with chip and grubbers instead of going through the phases and/or using support runners.
Lineout was shocking, started to hope the ball wouldnt go out on penalties.

During the bye, lineout and attack practice , i think.

At least pretty or ugly, we can win them all!!!
