If Digby wants to go, he should go. I do think he's making a mistake professionally, however.
But why are contract renewals done during the S14 season? Highly disruptive to players and teams, I would have thought. Or is it all there to provide drama?

it is the courage to continue that counts.

I'd like to think after last nights performance he would want to stay, lets wait and see, but if he goes it will be a shame to see him go...Good luck in the future mate...Whatever you decide...
Proudly bought to you by a brewery somewhere....
I think that whatever Digby does then as a supporters base we should set ourselves up as being different to all others and when/if he does return to our field we give him a warm welcome....once a Forceman...always a Forceman...

Totally true. If you wanna do something, do it, if you don't, don't (unless you have to, like having to do a boring job)Originally Posted by Burgs

I talked to Daruda in Hamilton after the Chiefs game and he told me that he is resigning. So I don't know who the player is that we let go!
he has 48hours to declare his interest.
Wish he had another week... we could have all brought "Stay Digby" signs to the game!
Every forwards dream is to become a back...
Totally agree TG. I think all our first year players should have a special standing with Force supporters. Especially the young backs who did us so proud last year after that unbelieveable run of injuries.Originally Posted by travelling_gerry
The team is going to go onwards and upwards but I'll be no more proud of the boys in the future than I was at the end of last season. Digby and his "butter fingers" definately included.
Digs is just a young bro too scared to say no to anyone, alot of island boys are like that too shy in certain situations,There is a bloke in the broncos called Tama Tupou who for two years let wayne bennett call him gary because thats what bennett and the organisation thought his name was.Only last year he said itwas tama asked why he didn't tell anyone sooner he said he was too shy!!!
By the way wayne bennett still calls him Gary!!!LOL!!

If Diggers goes, good luck to him for the future. I will always be proud of his service for the club. When he was on form and and the room to run, he was exciting.Originally Posted by shasta

I don't suppose someone could do me a favour and fill me in (even if speculative) on the comings and goings of the fringe players. I'm overseas long-term so I see news articles about the bigger stars but its hard to keep up. Any heads up would be much appreciated.
