You have to wonder what is Force1 purpose, what is his/her/we's motivation. Claims to be a Force fan but yet does nothing to show a love for the force - sure its fine to criticise, but its easy to criticise. But a wise person would suggest an alternative.

So what motivates a person, a flamer would be done by now.

What keeps someone going with a continuing diatribe of the cup is almost empty?

At least this isn't turning into the farce the NRL have running. Both Canterbury and the Warriors got shafted competition points in the past, and the result of this year's breaches ... nothing!

Well that's 50k wiped off the ARU loses for the year. O'Neill go check out the Queensland Reds, something underhand must be going on up there. I would fine them a couple of million just for existing, the public in NSW demand it.

It seems you are all very tolerant of management that waste RugbyWA's money. Thats $210,000 in fines now to date! Wouldnt that have been better spent with clubs and juniors?

Taking the question seriously, none as far as I am aware although I don't know that anyone is looking. From the Weekend Australian though, that may be about to change:

"In order to receive an annual $4.3m grant from the ARU for player payments, all state unions will provide the ARU with audit rights and access to their records and documentation relating to their internal structures and controls to ensure that they comply with the contracting protocols."

I had a feeling we would hear from Force1 again. Its unfortuante that this is the only topic he/she/they/it seems interested in.

I still am not convinced that RugbyWA has done something henous, that has never been done before by any other club/union/organisation. The ARU's Lote "exceptions" scream loud and clear "do as I say not as I do" attitude. The outcome seems, to me, like a "what do we do to close the file" approach rather than an outright admision of guilt. At least the ARU will tighten up on defining Protocols; Conventions; and Rules so that this will not happen again.

As for Auditing the books, I just assumed that the governing body already did that for member unions and franchises. Every rugby club I've every been involved with had to have a financial audit each year, and a copy was sent to the region union, or am I off the mark?

I, for one, would still rather trust Stooke and O'Meara than anyone running the east-coast unions to do the right thing in trying to get the best deals, and honour those deals. If the ARU find that Lote's "third party" deals fall over - will they "top up" his salary, or just say "Sorry Lote, nothing to do with us"... I think not.

Finally, of course businesses have rules and laws...i'm quite sure i learned that somewhere in my 5 years of law...but just because they exist it doesn't mean they're accepted and followed. If all laws were followed I'd be out of job...and so probably would you given that you insist on reporting on all the bad things in life and never anything positive"
