So Hansie, I'm gathering that RugbyWA's submission is one of those marked confidential on the website? Will the content of the confidential submissions be discussed in close sessions at the hearing?
Still waiting for a time and the names of the people or organisations that Sen. Reynolds is going to grill.
Is this the one you're talking about? I don't think RugbyWA would bother hiding their submission.
The ARU on the other hand.....
C'mon the![]()

Unless something has changed in the past week, I doubt RugbyWA's submission would be confidential. We have argued for transparency for years. Had the ARU engaged with us and all other stakeholders according to the ethos of our game and in good faith, collectively we would have solved the problems. They figured they had ALL of the answers, arrogantly figured no one else knew better.
I suspect ARU submissions will be marked in confidence because they have lots to hide.
My hope is that the Senate enquiry delivers an outcome which allows the brother and sisterhood of Rugby Union in Australia to heal the wounds.
I would love to be at the next Inquiry hearing, but won't be able to make it - at least I have a good excuse (Amsterdam)
De Clyne was probably in Amsterdam to avoid facing the first Senate hearing
Pattsy was in Amsterdam blowing "smoke" up his own ass
The long sobs of autumn's violins wound my heart with a monotonous languor
To all those going give em cold stares or more 😐 I wish I could be there but can’t get out of work.
Still no indication of the time as I need to know when to get the popcorn ready
