I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it, but I am BEYOND outraged that the IDIOT with a whistle stopped the players drinking water from just after half time. I think it is outrageous. That is just NOT on. The entire bench was used because the players were all dehydrated and not able to play rugby to their best. In 30+ degrees heat a referee should not be allowed to do that to players.
My 2 cents.
Otherwise, the cheetahs defense was strong. We should have got more than one try. We were pretty good. You can't judge much from this game, given the conditions and how we were denied water for half the game.
Rugby in February is no good!
A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

I think it would be wise from a medical point of view to have planned drink breaks every 15 minutes for both teams in that heat but watching the Cheetahs lie down and feign injury so their team could have a rest and a drink whenever the Force was in good position on attack had to be stopped.
How about some running rugby from the attack coach?
It's Giteau
It is a stuttering misfiring backline and shows his total lack of rugby nouse as a tactician and organiser. There is not a lot of change of angles, moves or dummy runners. The Force backline looks like it is coached by a prop.
Gits runs sideways 20 m most times he touches it. He seems to change his mind halfway through plays which confuses his players and doesn't allow confidence in running off him or changing direction or running lines.
Gits kicks it away too often with sh1thouse kicks when we are building phases and momentum.
I've also noticed he's given us the arse 2 games into the season
Sack the c*** now. His offseason has destroyed the club. He isn't committed so f*** him off.
Gits has been playing for 2 years like a gimp who didn't want to be here. Sack him now

How about some running rugby from the attack coach?
And how would you propose to do that?
And who would replace him in the team?
Lots of suggestions and criticism, but no solutions.
From my observation, Giteau was trying too hard and he didnt seem to have confidence in his players around him. You cant question the guys commitment.
He's the one that's been let down.
If this is the case, Giteau has some work to do to get his confidence back. I don't think it is the case though. Having missed trial matches, the 'western wallabies' are still getting their first games in since spring break, they should be more settled for next game ...Giteau was trying too hard and he [b]didnt seem to have confidence in his players around him[/b[
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
I agree, Coach.
I expect Giteau will play very well for the rest of the year. The Force have a big incentive to win next week.
Its a big character test for them.
A backline full of wallabies should function exceptionally well.........unless the tactician is clueless about how to structure moves, running angles, decoy runners, depth of runners etc. This bloke is supposed to be the best in the land.
I've seen better organised backlines in bush footy
How about some running rugby from the attack coach?
Yes, but bush rugby players can look fantastic running against an opposition from even further out bush... We've all seem this before.
That was effectively Giteau's second game in 2 weeks. Give him some time.
I'd actually swap him and JOC about. Perhaps Giteau outside of JOC will be good for all of them.
Good call Bondiflyer. At least that way if Giteau goes JO'C will be experienced at 10.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
I would just like to say that J'Oc did a damn fine job last night. That try of his may not have been very amazing but it pure quality running, take the ball on the angle and straighten up, he did it so purely it was crazy, like he was on the training field.
I hope the kid keeps improving this season because it seem we are going to need him next year. I do hope that they go with him at pivot next year and don't sign someone else!!!
I vote - GIVE US A RECTANGLE STADIUM!!!!!!
yeh 16,500 gee I thought there was more but....... tried to get the chant going but hard work.....
Its going to be a long season.......
Heaven knows whats going to happen if we dont get to MES next season
Go with O'Connor at 10 gits at 12 and then target an experienced 12 for next year. We don’t need the best inside but some one that has been around and can be reliable, have a look what Turinui brought to the very young reds backline.
