I'm sorry - that was school boy stuff & I 'm not pissed off at losing as much as that complete attitude switch off out there. THE KICKING HAS GOT TO STOP! Is it apparent to everyone but the coaches that other teams have sussed this out? When Zack & Junior Nathan made attacking runs they were making the breaks so why revert to kicking. I'm really confumblasticated by it all. It's yet another backwards step.
So apparently the Brumbies had an even worse result than us!
A lesson on how not to play rugby weeks out of the finals
Well still a proud force member just disappointed with the effort of many players and ad they could not pick the play early in the game to change the direction they played...
To much kicking.
4 charge downs with trys after it happened ( normally you learn by mistakes )
When we had ball in hand there were some good moves but then a fumble and they back on defense
Ball control was of a very low standard across the team
Very pissed off with that performance! The kicking was fecking annoying. The charge downs were infuriating!
The only player who seemed to have any gumption was Cheez! And who stole our Benny Mac??!
The 3 week break has taken the wind right out of our sails. AND we've gifted the bloody Tahs a home final!!
What about hayward's break with an open field in front, no one chasing and he kicks (yet)!!!!!
They did not show up, they did not trust themselves and they did not believe in their team.
Hopefully with our backs against the wall, we will stand up next week.
Btw all week the force talked about the first 20 mins. I really wondered if they forgot they were the ones who were supposed to have the attitude in that time.
Oh no what happened Force! Sounds like the right game to have missed. What a let down after such a great season!!
On reflection it almost seems as though they deliberately threw that game. Both Matt & Benny seemed to be really out of sorts & distracted as though they were just going through the motions. Has something happened behind play or is it just my imagination? Clutching at straws for an explanation. Blehhhh!
Absolute shockers by a few, Haylett Petty, Rasolea, Mathewson & MMM.
Quiet games by others, Wykes, Longbottom, Cowan, Coleman & McCalman
Injuries to Eberssohn, Coleman, Wykes.
Far too much aimless kicking, too many turnovers, no defensive pressure, running across the field, carrying the ball far too high into contact, very poor support to the ball runner, a flat composure and attitude and seemed to have not woken up from the test break.
They played to the level of the socks they were wearing, bad move that one by management.
Pretty sure our loss guarantees that the Tahs will finish top of the Aus conf and therefore get a home final.
Very disappointed! The only way it could have got worse was if it had rained!
No structure at all and for the first time this year very little ticker shown!
Will have to do better for the next two weeks!
May the FORCE be with you!
that was... uninspiring -_-
Well a loss was not unexpected there. But a towelling-up was.The equation of 2 wins from the last three has not changed. But the degree of difficulty sure has. Our second string backs are exactly that.
Given the run home for both sides I don't think we were much chance of making up the 7 point difference between the Tahs and the Force at the start if the round.
Shasta has hit the nail, the equation of 2/3 hasn't changed but the difficult has given we will have to beat the Brumbies away.
