hilarious!! That was the most bizarre interview, Allen is so incredibly out of touch with reality. And it gives insight into how dysfunctional the whole outfit is. I wonder if ARU is like this?

Oh, and don't you just love the reference right at the end to ARU bailing them out. As if its a god given right FFS. What incredible sense of entitlement and arrogance on display.

So. Our most experienced and respected man
has been chasing him for months and Rex has put the "Dud" stamp on him before a ball has been kicked. That'll do me.

Give the bloke some time. Looks certain he's been working under a hard hold by a bunch of incompetant f@ckwits the whole time.

as you all know I've been aghast at the whole Foley scenario.

But Rex, after reading the Growden interview with Allen, it is revealed just how dysfunctional the whole Warratahs set up is, from top to bottom. Clowns one and all, completely out of touch with the real world. Foley never stood a chance.

He is NOT the head coach, and sounds relieved. As shasta says, lets give him and the new set up a chance, it actually sounds quite exciting. A fresh start after the Graham debacle.

if you gave foles a 10 year IRONCLAD contract at the tah's. he might have JUST gotten it into a decent enough state to hand it over to his successor.

phil waugh and the rest of the old boys choir poisoned that shithole for over a decade.
he wasnt able to do his job. let alone develop in his position.

he better go ok. i'm giving him 6 rounds before i comment

yup agree, mind you it will probably be obvious after first round (maybe even preseason games) if its keystone cops or not.

no chance, the rot at the tahs comes from the board, he would never, ever, in a million years have a chance of making any impact whatsoever.

The mere fact that the board were pushing cost cutting measures on him in the middle of a season, when the team wasn't experiencing success shows how far out of touch they are.

This brings us nicely back to the topic. Vern Reid must go so we don't become the new tahs!

I think it might take quite a while to shake off the impacts of this season. He'll have trouble recruiting for next year and well be playing with journeymen. If he gets that crankin' in 6 rounds he's a bloody miracle worker.

Jees, with the circus that has been the western Farce, TWF locals have been side tracked from Rex bashing. Great to see you are back on track
